Took my aunt (from San Diego) to Bếp Việt for the first time and we can't wait to come back. We ordered three dishes from the Grill section and they were all fantastic. Their spring rolls were so good that we ordered another as appertizer. so far, all the dishes we ordered were better than places in Eden center. Location/parking is also less hectic than Eden center. Vietnamese coffee tasted great and beautiful presented. planning to come back next Monday to try more dishes.
Very good vermicelli pork and beef. Great flavor and nice crisp on the edges. Did takeout. Host was very pleasant and the place had a nice decor. Will come back and try some of the other dishes. So far one of the better Viet locations we have tried.
Went on a weekday around 8pm. The atmosphere was really relaxing. They had redone the place in dark woods. It was warm and inviting. Plants added to the ambiance Service was great. Our water was constantly refilled. Food came quickly. We started with appetizers #4, #5, and #9. The crispy tofu rolls, #4, were good. Tasty, and although a little greasy, the chicken was very tender and moist. It was served with sweet chili sauce. Six small pieces, so easy to share. The beef in vine were a little weird, #9. The grilled pork rolls were good #5. Would get that again. They were big. We got the waitress's recommendation from the Chef Specialty Menu which turned out to be my friend's favorite. #?The grilled lemon chicken (#33) was his least favorite dish. We also got the lemongrass beef (#36). The caramelized catfish in clay pot (#40A) was my favorite although a bit salty. It was served in a bowl and not a clay pot. Would return here for sure.
Really nice restaurant not far from Eden Center. Beautiful decor with a lot of greenery. I love their little French snack/biscuit corner. Everything we tried was all good. Their coffee was perfectly done! Service was great. Highly recommend!
Their bun bo hue broth is top notch! This place a family owned small business and it really shows, because the customer service was really good! Atmosphere is really nice with all the cool Vietnamese decorations and plants. The food tasted really high quality and did not appear to have MSG. Not overly greasy either. Will definitely return!
We went there in group of 5 for dinner on a Saturday. Restaurant was almost packed with 2 empty tables with Reservation sign. We saw a lady and a young man running around super busy and we can tell that they avoid eye contact with us so we just wait. After 5 minutes, the lady came to say hi and gave us one of the reserved table. We ordered 2 appetizers and 5 different dishes and we understood that they are understaffed so we patiently waited for the food. Food was good but not great, the rice noodle for my Pho was broken to small pieces so it was a negative point even though the broth is good and they gave lots of meats. Ambiance and decoration is the plus point, very nice and cozy atmosphere. We will give it a try with a different day and time and different dishes.
Family craved some Vietnamese cuisine and we had always wanted to try this spot. Very clean with a nice ambiance of Vietnamese decor throughout the restaurant. The service was a little on the slow side as there was only 1 waitress Tuesday dinner-time. The food came out fresh and tasty. The pho broth was delicious. Parking was plentiful as it is a shared lot of a center. Will definitely be back for more. Enjoy!
It was a really dreary start to the summer with its dull gray sky, rainy weather and nasty DMV humidity. So Bep Viet was a great option for dinner this past Summer Solstice. My friend and I were craving pho and wanted to try something new. The service here is a bit slow -- seems like it's run by a mom & pop and there were a good amount of customers. PHO DAC BIET/BEEF SPECIAL NOODLE SOUP - 15.95 This came with a variety of beef: eye round, brisket, tendon and meatball. They actually give you a solid amount of meat here (I know this because every bite of noodle I had contained some meat). The broth here is on the oilier side, but I didn't mind because it was rich and flavorful. The portion size was pretty standard and for this economy, 16.00 for a bowl of pho isn't the worst. They also had this soy bean drink (3.50?) that I got that wasn't too sweet. It's not homemade though (the server told me it came from a can, lol). Overall, my friend and I enjoyed our dinner here. It's one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in this area. With so many options, I'm not sure if I'll come back anytime soon. If I do, I hear their broken rice dishes and vermicelli were huge hits so I'd like to try that!
Tried more of their food but forgot to write down all the dishes. I remember one though! What I got: Caramel Ginger Chicken - 5* I remember it being super good!
